Antolini Luigi & Co
In 1930 Luigi Antolini and his family began supplying marble to architects, artists and builders from a small operation in Sant Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Italy. Of a pioneering mindset and, committed to the use of technological advances, the business has grown to become one of the Worlds largest suppliers of architectural and decorative stone.
The business regularly sources stone from over 62 quarries world wide, many of which are now owned and operated by the Antolini family. Over 800 different types of stone are warehoused in 200,000 square metres of storage space and these can be viewed by our customers should they wish to make a trip to Italy. Alternatively, samples and Jpegs of available slabs can be dispatched for your consideration to the UK.
Advances in technology have led to Antolini pioneering several new technologies such as the use of diamond wire saws (Antolini Clean Edge – ACE) resulting in smoother, more accurate precision cuts and, the Antolini Vacuum Process (AVP) which consolidates and bonds stone together with special resins under high pressure, giving rise to structurally superior products.
F Jones Cleveland has worked closely with Antolini Luigi for over 15 years and we are proud of the special relationship we have developed with the family and its employees.
Silestone by Cosentino
Silestone is made by the Cosentino family who for three generations have specialised in working with Quartzite stone from the Almeria region of Spain. The business is now the largest of its kind, with an international market stretching from the USA to Asia, Europe to Southern Africa.
Silestone by Cosentino bridges the gap between nature and technology, it is 94% natural quartz and the remaining 6% resins and pigments. Using a patented vibro-compression system, the resin binds the quartz in polymeric chains. The result is a beautiful durable stone.
